Josh Bicknell

Josh Bicknell joined GPW and Associates, Inc. as the Director of Captive Initiatives in 2023. Josh started his career as a captive auditor in 2006 and quickly shifted to focus on captive management and consulting. In 2015, Josh joined Willis Towers Watson as an executive, later going on to work for Hylant Captive Insurance Solutions. Josh has experience in all aspects of captive insurance, including captive formation, implementation, feasibility, management and supervision, compliance and reporting. He has worked in many captive industries, such as higher education, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing and distribution, banking and other P&C applications. He has managed captives in numerous domiciles for various captive types, including group captives, cell structures, single parent captives and risk retention groups.
