JAMES H. GORDON, F.S.A.
President
Career History
Jim Gordon is President of GPW and Associates, Inc. GPWA purchased the Risk and Insurance Services Practice from Watson Wyatt on September 1, 1998. Jim joined Watson Wyatt in 1981 after having served as Vice President of a Phoenix based life insurance company. He has over 40 years of experience in the consulting field following his work in the actuarial department of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. Prior to forming GPWA, Jim was the team leader for the Risk and Insurance Services team in the Phoenix office.
Areas of Special Expertise
Fields of expertise include life and health insurance policies and companies, property and casualty insurance companies involved in contractual liability insurance for service contracts and involuntary unemployment, captive insurance company management, reinsurance agreements, federal income tax returns for insurance companies, defined benefit and defined contribution plans, and special actuarial problems.

GREGORY PETROWSKI, CPA, ACI

Career History
Greg Petrowski is Senior Vice President of GPW and Associates, Inc. (GPWA). He has over 30 years of technical and practical experience in the PORC and captive industries and lists as his clients a significant number of major insurance companies, national banks and automobile dealers/dealer groups. Greg's professional career began with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. working in the audit department primarily on insurance company clients. He was subsequently employed by the American Security Insurance Group to work with producer owned reinsurance companies and then moved onto Watson Wyatt.
Areas of Special Expertise
Fields of expertise include regulatory filings, accounting, taxation and tax planning for insurance companies, reinsurance treaty review and negotiation, profitability analysis of blocks of business, financial projections for both statutory and GAAP accounting and noninsurance accounting and tax matters.

GEORGE BELOKAS, FCAS, MAAA
Executive Vice President
Career History
George Belokas is Executive Vice President and Actuary of GPW And Associates, Inc. (GPWA). He joined GPWA in 2006 as an Actuarial Analyst. George was promoted to Actuary in 2010 and completed the exams required for Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society in 2011. In 2014, George was promoted to Assistant Vice President of GPWA. His responsibilities include reserving and pricing, with a focus in commercial lines, reinsurance and captive insurance.
Areas of Special Expertise
Fields of experience include workers compensation, property, general liability, medical malpractice and alternative Property & Casualty insurance risks. George is also experienced in various Finance and Insurance products including vehicle service contracts, guaranteed asset protection and tire and wheel.

Career History
Larry Prudhomme is Vice President of GPW and Associates, Inc. (GPWA). He joined GPWA in 2008 to apply his management skills in the captive insurance industry. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Detroit and spent 8 years in the tax department specializing in small to mid-size companies. During his business career, Larry has been in management positions in the graphic arts industry, the investment advisory business and with a Fortune 100 company.

Fields of expertise include captive insurance formation and management, Internal Revenue Service negotiations, 831(b) captives, insurance company taxation and statement preparation and non-controlled foreign corporations.

AMANDA LUBKING, FCAS, MAAA

Client Services - Actuarial
Career History
Amanda Lubking joined GPW and Associates, Inc. (GPWA) in January 2016 as an Actuary. She has over 18 years of actuarial experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. In 2020 Amanda was promoted to Vice President at GPWA, and she oversees all areas of the Actuarial Practice. In 2003, Amanda began her career at Scottsdale Insurance Company (a subsidiary of Nationwide Insurance) as an actuarial student and rapidly attained her Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society in 2007. During her career at Scottsdale Insurance, she had increasing responsibilities including Director of Reserving for 6 affiliated insurance companies and was chosen to be the Director of Scottsdale’s Department of Analytics and Research, which is responsible for building analytical models to assist the Company in product pricing.

Fields of expertise include generalized linear models, commercial general liability, medical and non-medical professional lines, and E & S.

Master of Applied Statistics degree from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Puget Sound
